An extraordinarily important exhibition that sees a series of events within it. The inauguration will see the signing of an important thirty-year agreement between the Bishops' Museum and Dr. Sergio Fontana, Administrator of Farmalabor and President of the Culture sector of Confindustria Bari-BAT, in the presence of the Regional Councilor for Tourism Loredana Capone. In the presence of numerous authorities, 35 unpublished masterpieces by the famous painter from Barletta, precursor of French Impressionism, will be on display until 1 May 2016. Central piece of extraordinary importance, the unpublished fan that De Nittis created and gave to his wife Léontine Gruvelle on 7 November 1883, a few months before his untimely death. The painter's private photographs and his wife's letters, also unpublished, are exceptionally unique. At the end, on April 24th, a dinner will be held in the rooms below the structure, where you will taste the dishes that the painter loved to cook on Saturdays and you will listen to masterpieces by Debussy and Chopin.
