From the Royal Chapter Archive of the Cathedral of San Sabino, in Canosa di Puglia, emerge the unpublished letters written between 1812 and 1815 by Gioacchino Napoleone to Domenico Forges D'Avanzati, former Prime Minister of the Neapolitan Republic and Bishop of Canosa. Unpublished letters, not passed by the Royal Chancellery, which reveal links to international politics, in which the Sovereign orders compliance with the code of reporting dissidents. Highlight, a splendid pistol donated by the Sovereign to the Provosts of Canosa, embellished with a gold stock.
