An unpublished drawing, purchased by the well-known Sotheby's Auction House, which reproduces the central key of the work The School of Athens, in the Apartments of the Segnatura. An unpublished drawing, different from the one preserved in the Ambrosiana in Milan, attributed to Raphael, which allows us to understand the original project of the great author: postponing the two figures of the philosophers and the sculptures behind them. The drawing was part of an immense correspondence that was lost in the early seventeenth century, partly reacquired by Cassiano Dal Pozzo.
